ABOUT
Amy Lash Esau, Ph.D., CFLE
Of all the grant writers and nonprofit consultants doing great work, what sets Dr. Lash Esau apart? The systemic thinking she developed in her human development and family studies training enables her to understand the complexity and variety of nonprofit organizations, their programming, their communities, and their clients. Experience working with adult learners focused on industry-needed knowledge and listening to industry leaders' perspectives on what program graduates need to know to be successful in industry has provided her with the ability to talk with and understand business needs and challenges. She brings this knowledge into consideration when working with clients.
The letters after her name represent the training and tested experience she has in understanding, analyzing, and working with family and community issues. In addition, for decades Dr. Lash Esau has engaged in front line volunteer work, nonprofit leadership, and board service in youth development, community service-oriented, and community health organizations.
Because of her background, she has a unique perspective and understanding of the important service nonprofits provide communities as well as challenges faced by nonprofits and businesses trying to navigate meaningful, effective community engagement. Dr. Lash Esau looks forward to learning more about your organization and finding ways to connect you with the resources and solutions you need to fulfill your mission.
